DETA 2007 Conference

The second Distance Education and Teacher Education in Africa 2007 Conference (DETA) Conference will take place from 5 - 8 August 2007 at Makerere University in Kampala , Uganda . This is a conference on topical issues in teacher education in Africa and a must for all academics and practitioners in teacher education in Africa.

Issues like open education resources for teacher education, models of teacher education in Africa and quality indicators for teacher education will be addressed.  The conference is organized jointly by Makerere University , the University of Pretoria and SAIDE.
