Saide is thrilled that Smangele has chosen to fill the position of Partner Development Coordinator for the African Storybook in Southern Africa.

Smangele comes from Dobsonville and has two girls, one thirteen and one three years old. It will be great to watch the three-year-old grow up with African Storybooks! Aside from a passion for books and reading, she has a keen interest in Early Childhood Development, and we hope to involve her in Saide ECD projects once she has settled into her African Storybook role.

Smangele has started work with enthusiasm – and is already on radio! Listen to a podcast of an interview she gave on Radio 702 at event at the Cradle of Humankind on 12 October hosted by the Department of Arts and Culture with Radio 702 - http://www.702.co.za/events/16840/-the-year-of-the-indigenous-languages.
